HR+ is a dedicated HR and IR service that is tailored to the architectural profession. HR+ has been designed to assist A+ members with improving their staff management by providing access to the expert HR team at Wentworth Advantage. This service is now also available to Graduate members so whether you are an employer or employee HR+ has the resources to help you.

Information & support

New and improved HR Service website has launched.

Improvements and new features now provide members with better access to online resources by; a more user friendly layout that reflects the employment lifecycle; accessibility on a variety of mobile devices and compatibility with various internet browsers (including Safari).  New features include live Chat, quick links, latest and suggested resources, HR newsletters and articles, email inquiries and feedback forms.

Eligible members have access to a wide variety of resources through the Online Resource Library including wage guides, contract of employment templates, sample job descriptions, HR policies and procedures, Work Health and Safety manuals, letters/forms/checklists, various information guides and tips on how to deal with issues at work, and more.

Access HR+

To access the service, you must be logged in to the Institute website as an A+ or Graduate member.  A+ Practice managers can access the HR+ website by clicking the below link and entering their A+ Employer ID in the 'Member Number' field.  Members will need Microsoft Word 2013 or any later version of Microsoft Word to view these resources. For members with earlier versions of Microsoft Word 2013, the resources can be opened in Google Drive ( This will require members to login via their Google Account or set one up if they don't already have one.

About the service

Covering human resources (HR) and industrial relations (IR), the service provides expert advice in employment conditions and law, occupational health and safety, workers’ compensation and superannuation.

The service has been designed to help A+ members gain a competitive edge, allowing them to facilitate teamwork, improve the productivity of staff and reduce the risk associated with understanding employment-related legislation.

What it provides

HR+ includes three integrated elements:

  • HR Hotline: Advice from an expert in HR, IR and employment law. We don’t believe in automated answering systems, so when you call, you’ll speak to a real person.
  • Reference manual and technical resources: Useful guides tailored to your specific business needs including: template employment contracts, job descriptions, template policies and procedures, information sheets, checklists and more.
  • Education and training program
    • The provision of HR and IR newsletter and publication articles
    • A national training and seminar program

In instances when an enquiry may be particularly complex or unique, you may be given an option to tap into paid services from Wentworth Advantage that are tailored to your specific needs.
